1. Warranty
Bathroom Surgeon proudly stands behind our workmanship and proprietary products.
- Epoxy grout carries a 25-year product warranty, provided that the property has solid brick walls and the existing tiles are stable (not loose or drummy).
- For all other circumstances, the warranty period will be assessed and agreed upon depending on existing site conditions, and this will be confirmed in writing prior to commencement.
- Silicone and Standard Wall Grout carry 24-month warranties under normal conditions.
- Warranty terms must be acknowledged and signed off by the Owner before work begins.

2. Privacy Policy
We value your privacy and comply with the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) under the Privacy Act 1988.
- We may collect personal information (such as name, phone number, and email) via phone, email, website, or third-party sources to deliver and improve our services.
- Your information may be used for communication, service updates, and marketing purposes. You may opt out of marketing communications at any time by contacting us in writing.
3. Definitions
- Bathroom Surgeon — Bathroom Surgeon and its affiliates.
- Owner — The client contracting our services.
- Work — Services provided under our agreement.
- Quotation — The formal estimate or service agreement.
- Site — The property where services are carried out.
4. Quality of work
All work will comply with:
- The Building Code of Australia
- Relevant Australian Standards and legislation
- Any required permits or approvals
Any non-compliant client-supplied designs or instructions remain the client’s responsibility.
5. Scope of Work
- The services included in the quotation define the scope of work. Any variations must be documented in writing.
- Clients must disclose pre-existing issues such as prior repairs or structural concerns.
- Our inspections are visual only. Where structural or hidden issues are suspected, specialist assessment should be arranged by the client.
- Cleaning or chemical preparation may alter tile appearance. This is not considered a defect.
- Work areas must remain dry for at least 24 hours before and after service.
6. Exclusions
Our services do not include:
- Painting
- Bath resurfacing
- General handyman services
7. Safe Use & Indemnity
You, the Owner, agree to use our services solely for lawful purposes and in line with industry standards. You agree to indemnify and release Bathroom Surgeon from liability for losses, claims, or damages arising from misuse, modification, or improper use of our work or materials.
8. Latent Defects & Structural Movement
We are not liable for undisclosed or structural issues that arise during or after our work. If such issues are identified, a revised quotation will be provided before continuing.
9. Payment Terms
- For renovations, tiling, or larger projects: A 50% deposit is payable at the start of work, with the balance due upon completion.
- For shower-only repairs: Full payment is due upon satisfactory completion, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- Late payments will incur interest at 20% per annum.
10. Pricing validity
All quotations remain valid for 90 days from the date of issue, unless otherwise specified. We reserve the right to amend pricing if the quotation has expired or project details have changed.
11. Project Timelines
We aim to complete projects within a reasonable timeframe. However, delays may occur due to weather conditions, material availability, or site complications.
12. Variations
Any changes to the agreed scope of work must be provided in writing and approved. Variations may impact cost and completion time.
13. Warranty & Liability
We guarantee the quality of our workmanship and materials.
- Epoxy grout warranties of 25 years only apply to properties with solid brick walls and stable tiles (not loose or drummy).

This warranty does not cover:
- Pre-existing defects
- Structural movement or alterations made by the client
- Damage caused by accidents, misuse, or third-party products
14. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- Our liability is limited to rectifying defects or completing repairs covered under warranty.
- We are not responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of income, inconvenience, or unrelated structural damage.
15. Access & Site Conditions
Clients must ensure safe access to the site and that the area is prepared for work. Additional charges may apply if access is restricted or the site is not adequately prepared.
16. Changes to Terms
Bathroom Surgeon reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Updated terms will be published on our website and, where applicable, communicated directly to clients.
17. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia. Any disputes should first be addressed through mediation or arbitration wherever possible.
18. Consumer Rights
