Our Story

Bathroom Surgeon was founded by Lou Drljaca after years of working for a competitor where he grew frustrated with the shortcuts being taken. As the head trainer of technicians, Lou—guided by old-school values and a belief in doing the job right—couldn’t accept work that wasn’t finished to perfection or customers not getting their money’s worth.

Determined to raise the standard, Lou left and teamed up with his close friend and top technician, Doug, who has been with the business since day one. Later, Lou’s son Rob and daughter Kristina joined, taking on the management and business growth side while keeping the company true to its roots.

Bathroom Surgeon has always stayed intentionally small to maintain its reputation for unmatched quality and attention to detail. Over the years, we’ve built lasting relationships with real estate agencies, builders, strata managers, and private customers. At the heart of it all, we remain what we’ve always been—a true family business that values the small things.
